loud one!

i drilled this frame out partially through the side plate, thinking it would lighten it up, and still remain stiff... what i didnt consider was the shape of the holes. since they are all cone-shaped, and have really a small amount of material at the bottom of the holes, they acted like a bunch of little speakers, and amplified the fuck out of the already loud and clanky machine! if you used it to tattoo someone's neck, it would be deafening.
fortunately, the new owner got it from at a convention, where the crowd noise most likely drowned out the shader itself. im sure when he got it back to the shop, his co-workers were pissed!
